We may collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, date of birth, and profile details when you create an account, as well as wellness-related data including daily check-ins, sobriety tracking, journal entries, and progress within the app. If you choose to use NIHB-related features, we may collect your NIHB number, uploaded card images, consent acknowledgements, and session-related billing information. We also collect appointment details, therapist interactions, and limited technical data such as device type, IP address, and usage activity to improve the platform. Your information is used to create and manage your account, provide app features, enable therapist sessions, support NIHB workflows, improve performance, and send important notifications. HealingPath does not sell your personal information and does not use your data for unrelated advertising purposes. By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in this policy, and you may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us or requesting account deletion. Your data is securely stored using trusted cloud services including Firebase Authentication, Firestore, and secure storage systems, with encryption in transit and restricted access controls in place. Access to your information is limited to you, authorized therapists involved in your care, and select administrative personnel for support and billing purposes. We retain your information only as long as necessary to provide services and meet legal obligations, and you may request access, correction, or deletion of your data at any time. HealingPath respects Indigenous data considerations and is committed to handling all information with dignity, cultural awareness, and user control. Our services are not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from minors. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, and any changes will be posted within the app and on our website.
